Even if your account was created with an Apple Account, you can still use the Windows app.

However, the login screen of the Windows app does not have a "Sign in with Apple" button and only supports logging in with an email address and password. If your account was created with "Sign in with Apple", no password has been configured on the Handbook X side yet, preventing login.

Please follow the steps below to set a password and attempt logging in again:

[Password Setup & Login Steps]
1. Log in to the Web browser version using "Sign in with Apple" and check your registered email address on the profile screen.
*If "Hide My Email" was selected, a relay address such as "<xxyyzz1122@privaterelay.appleid.com>" will be displayed. Please use this relay address in the subsequent steps.
2. Click "Forgot password?" on the login screen, enter the email address verified in step 1, and receive the reset email.
3. Set a new password from the link in the email. (Requirements: 8+ characters, including uppercase, lowercase letters, and numbers)
4. On the Windows app login screen, enter the email address from step 1 and the new password set in step 3 to log in.

[Notes]
- If the email does not arrive at the relay address, please check Apple's forwarding settings and your spam/junk folder.
- The verification code is valid for 10 minutes. Please enter it within the time limit.
- The Web browser version and iOS app will continue to support "Sign in with Apple".

Book thumbnail size is 384 (H) x 512 (W) pixels. Section thumbnail size is 295 (H) x 360 (W) pixels.

The account deletion procedure varies depending on your plan (server environment):

* When using the Enterprise plan (dedicated server):
Administrators can delete the account directly. Log in to the Web UI (Management Console) and delete the user from the "Accounts" menu.
*When a user is deleted, books owned by that user are automatically transferred to the "Organization Owner".

* When using Business, Team, or Personal plans (shared server):
Administrators cannot forcibly delete individual user accounts from the management side. However, as long as the user has already been removed from the relevant "Workgroups", you can rest assured that the former employee can no longer access internal shared data (books).
(*If the user account itself needs to be deleted, the former employee must execute "Delete Account (from Handbook X Service)" directly from the profile screen within their app.)

Due to Handbook X specifications, the name of a workgroup cannot be changed once created. If you wish to change the name, please create a new workgroup with the desired name.

Below is the procedure, format, and manual for bulk account registration (CSV import) in the Handbook X Enterprise (dedicated server) environment:

1. Bulk Account Registration (Import) Procedure
Log in to the Web UI (Management Console).
Open the [Accounts] tab in the left navigation menu.
Click the [Import] button on the top toolbar.
Select the CSV file and follow the on-screen instructions to validate and register.

Optional Settings:
- "Overwrite existing account information" (updates existing users)
- "Reconfigure workgroups and groups" (reassigns memberships)

2. CSV Template (Recommended 7-column format)
Create the CSV file with the following 7 header columns:

The more cost-effective plan depends on your number of users, required data storage, and security requirements:

- Choosing by storage capacity (for 50 users or fewer):
Up to 160 GB: The Business plan is more economical (95,000 JPY/month (104,500 JPY incl. tax)).
170 GB: Both plans cost the same, but the Enterprise plan includes 200 GB by default.
180 GB or more: Expanding storage on the Business plan costs 105,000 JPY/month (115,500 JPY incl. tax), making the Enterprise plan (which includes 200 GB standard) more economical.

- Choosing by security features (regardless of user count or storage):
If advanced governance features are required—such as "Access restricted only to specific company devices (Device ID Control)", "Dedicated Custom Subdomain", or "Custom Login IDs without email addresses"—the Enterprise plan is the only choice regardless of user count or storage.

Cancellation procedures must be submitted via the online cancellation form. The application deadline is by the 25th of the month prior to the contract renewal month.

This is not a system bug, but a specification change introduced in the mid-May release. In response to user requests to review actual response contents and to fix column shifts in certain answer types, the answer column was updated to output the selected choice text. Total scores can still be checked in column 4 ("Total Score") of the CSV as before. (*We are currently investigating a new display method in development for individual question scores.)

The key differences lie in their purpose (usage) and who can create them.

[Groups]
Primarily used by administrators as recipient destinations for distributing materials. Users are grouped by department or role to share books in bulk, suitable for administrator-driven, one-way information delivery. Administrators create and manage them from the Management Console (Web UI).

[Workgroups]
Function as spaces where members can share information bidirectionally with one another. All participating members can share content with each other, making them ideal for frontline-driven, two-way collaboration such as specific project teams. Users can create them directly from the app or web interface and easily invite members via QR code, email, etc.

PDF, images, videos (such as MP4), and website links can be registered. Microsoft Office documents such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are automatically converted to PDF upon registration and displayed.

Yes, this can be done using the "Question Studio" feature. By creating multiple-choice and other question formats and placing them inside books, you can conduct post-training comprehension tests or collect feedback surveys from clients.

*This feature is available on the Team plan and higher. Answering tests or surveys distributed within invited workgroups is possible.

Yes, this can be done by using the "Handbook X Content Collector" (compatible with Windows / Mac). By linking specific folders on your computer with Handbook X books, file ingestion and sync updates are handled automatically, significantly reducing the effort required for material registration.

Yes, distributing (sharing) materials to individuals outside of a workgroup is possible.

However, in order for the recipient to view the shared materials within Handbook X, they will need to create a free Handbook X account.

Yes, this is possible. By downloading books and content in advance within the app, you can smoothly view documents even in offline environments or locations without cellular/Wi-Fi coverage (such as basements or factory floors).

The primary advantages are stronger security controls and significantly larger storage capacity.

The "Enterprise" plan (100,000 JPY/month (110,000 JPY incl. tax)) runs on dedicated servers and provides an initial storage capacity of 200 GB (compared to 30 GB on the Business plan). Additionally, it enables stricter governance features such as "Device/Platform Restrictions" (limiting access to designated devices only), "Custom Subdomain Setup", and "Granular Account Management", making it the preferred choice for companies with stringent security requirements.

Yes, users can be added on the "Team" plan as well by purchasing the additional user option (500 JPY/user/month (550 JPY incl. tax)), up to a maximum of 50 users.

However, even if users are added, limitations on "Number of books that can be created (up to 30)" and "Number of workgroups (up to 5)" remain unchanged, and access to the support desk is not included.

*If you wish to use the service with 51 or more users, lift the above limits, or access the support desk, upgrading to the "Business" plan is required.

Yes, for contracts on "Business" and "Enterprise" plans, we offer a "10GB Additional Option".

The price is 5,000 JPY/month (5,500 JPY incl. tax) per additional 10GB, allowing flexible expansion as needed.

Yes, both the "Business" and "Enterprise" plans offer an "Additional User Option" that allows adding users individually.

The price is 500 JPY/user/month (550 JPY incl. tax). The "Business" plan can be expanded up to 1,000 users, while the "Enterprise" plan can be expanded without limit.

Similar to standard OS and application specifications, sorting is performed by "Unicode character code order" rather than phonetic reading order.

If you want them sorted in an intended sequence, we recommend naming books with numbers at the beginning, such as "01_" or "02_".

Data storage is fully contained within Japan (Tokyo and surrounding areas), so you can rest assured there is no risk of data being transferred or stored on overseas servers.
